The Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver 4.20 is a proven soft plastic creature bait designed for flipping, pitching, Texas rigging and targeting bass around heavy cover. Its compact beaver-style profile, ribbed body and distinctive tail design create a versatile presentation that excels around grass, brush, wood, docks and other bass-holding structure.

Designed with a streamlined body that can be worked efficiently through cover, the Sweet Beaver 4.20 is an excellent choice for anglers targeting largemouth bass in places where a weedless soft plastic presentation is important. Rig it Texas style with a bullet weight, flip it into vegetation, pitch it around docks and laydowns, or use it as a compact trailer on a bass jig.

The Sweet Beaver’s forward-facing ribbed body creates water displacement as the bait moves, helping the soft plastic maintain a noticeable presence while keeping a compact profile. Its twin-tail design adds movement and versatility, allowing anglers to alter the bait’s action depending on how it is rigged and fished.

For flipping and pitching, pair the Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver with a strong flipping or EWG-style hook and a bullet or tungsten weight. Its compact profile makes it an excellent choice for presenting a soft plastic around grass mats, vegetation, brush, laydowns, docks and other areas where bass hold close to cover.

The Sweet Beaver is also highly effective on a Texas rig. Adjust the amount of weight based on depth, cover and desired fall rate, then work the bait along bottom structure or through vegetation. The weedless rigging capability allows anglers to present the bait in areas where exposed-hook lures may frequently snag.

When additional action isn’t necessary, the compact creature-bait profile provides a controlled presentation that works well around pressured or cover-oriented fish. Anglers can hop, drag, pitch or flip the Sweet Beaver depending on the fishing conditions and how bass are positioned.

The Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver 4.20 also makes an excellent jig trailer. Thread it onto a flipping jig, football jig or other bass jig to add bulk, profile and additional movement. This gives anglers another way to use the same soft plastic throughout changing conditions.

Fisherman’s Central carries the Sweet Beaver 4.20 in an extensive selection of Reaction Innovations colors, making it easy to choose a presentation based on water clarity, forage, cover and fishing conditions. Natural green pumpkin and watermelon-style colors provide versatile options, while black, blue, Junebug and other darker patterns provide strong silhouettes for stained water, heavy cover and lower-light conditions.
