The Rapala CrushCity Freeloader is a versatile soft plastic minnow designed to excel as a bladed jig and spinnerbait trailer while also delivering the subtle action needed for modern finesse minnow presentations.

Developed as part of Rapala’s CrushCity lineup, the Freeloader features a deeper baitfish profile with subtle tail rings that create enticing tail-kicking action. Its streamlined design makes it an excellent ChatterBait, vibrating jig, spinnerbait, and scrounger trailer without overpowering the action of the lure.

The CrushCity Freeloader can also be fished independently. Rig it on a jighead for shaking a minnow and other forward-facing sonar presentations, nose hook it, fish it on a belly-weighted hook, or rig it weightless like a soft plastic jerkbait.

Belly and top hook slots help keep the bait rigged straight and provide options for concealing the hook point. Rapala’s Smart Injection Technology combines strategically placed color, flake, salt, and scent to create an effective baitfish presentation.
