The Half & Half name comes from the blend or hybrid of two awesome fly patterns which blend into one. A Half & Half features the weighed dumbbell eyes and bucktail head of the Clouser Minnow a phenomenal jig fly with the added feather – hackle tail of Lefty’s Deceiver.

The weighed eyes make the hook point ride up and also give the fly a great darting motion with small strips and jigs and a beautiful free fall on the pause. All the while the long hackle feather tail and bucktail body breath and undulate in the water.

The Half & Half was created by Bob Clouser and Lefty Kreh, two fly legends who have contributed so much to the fly fishing world and especially the saltwater fly fishing community.
