The Lucana Predator is a 6cm, 14.5g hollow-body frog the mid-size in the Lucana frog range, sitting between the Samba and the bigger Bull and Muller models. That size does most of the work in Indian conditions: big enough to be seen across a weed mat, small enough that murrel commit rather than swipe. Ten finishes, most of them realistic frog and amphibian patterns rather than bright attractor colours.

Why it works

• 6cm mid-size profile that murrel commit to rather than swipe at
• Hollow body collapses on the strike for solid hook-ups
• Weedless design comes through mats and lily pads cleanly
• Realistic frog and amphibian colour patterns
