The Zoom Z Craw is a high-action soft plastic craw bait designed for bass fishing around grass, wood, docks, rock and heavy cover. Featuring a streamlined body, ribbed sides and wide flapping claws, the Z Craw produces aggressive movement and water displacement on the fall and retrieve, making it an excellent choice for flipping, pitching, punching, Texas rigging and fishing as a bass jig trailer.

Built with Zoom’s proven soft plastic construction, the Zoom Z Craw combines flexibility for natural movement with the durability needed for repeated casts into bass-holding cover. Its crawfish-inspired profile provides a versatile presentation for largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass throughout the fishing season.

The Z Craw’s wide claws create noticeable action as the bait moves through the water. On the fall, the appendages produce movement that can attract bass holding beneath vegetation, beside wood or around other structure. During a retrieve, the claws continue to move and displace water, creating an active crawfish presentation that can trigger reaction strikes.

For flipping and pitching, rig the Zoom Z Craw with a Texas-style setup and target high-percentage areas such as grass edges, laydowns, bushes, docks, reeds and other shallow cover. Its streamlined profile helps the bait move through cover while the active claws provide movement as the bait falls into the strike zone.

The Zoom Z Craw is also an excellent punching bait for heavy vegetation. Pair it with the appropriate tungsten weight and hook to penetrate thick grass mats and reach largemouth bass holding underneath. The streamlined body helps the bait move through dense cover while maintaining the craw-style action anglers want once it reaches open water below the vegetation.

For a traditional Texas rig, fish the Z Craw around grass, rock, docks, brush and wood. Drag it slowly along the bottom to imitate a crawfish or use short hops and lifts to create a more active presentation.

The Z Craw can also be fished on a Carolina rig when targeting bass along points, flats, ledges and offshore structure. Its crawfish profile and active appendages provide movement behind the weight while allowing anglers to cover larger areas of water.

As a bass jig trailer, the Zoom Z Craw adds bulk, action and water displacement to flipping jigs, football jigs and other bass jigs. Thread the bait onto the hook or trim the body when a more compact trailer profile is desired. The wide claws create additional movement behind the jig during the fall, retrieve and bottom-contact presentations.

The Zoom Z Craw can also be used on a Free Rig, giving anglers another way to present the bait around rock, grass and structure. The separated weight allows the soft plastic to move and fall naturally, making the Z Craw a versatile option when bass are responding to less traditional bottom-contact presentations.

For largemouth bass, work the Z Craw around vegetation, docks, laydowns, brush, bushes and other heavy cover. Its combination of a streamlined body and active craw appendages makes it particularly well suited for power-fishing techniques such as flipping, pitching and punching.

For smallmouth bass, drag or hop the Zoom Z Craw around rocky points, gravel, transitions, ledges and other crawfish-rich structure. Natural craw and green pumpkin-based colors provide excellent options when smallmouth are feeding heavily on bottom-dwelling forage.

Fisherman’s Central carries the Zoom Z Craw in 3.5-inch and 4.25-inch sizes, allowing anglers to adjust their presentation based on forage size, fishing pressure and technique.

The 3.5-inch Zoom Z Craw provides a more compact presentation for finesse applications, smaller jig trailers and situations where bass are responding better to downsized forage.

The larger 4.25-inch Zoom Z Craw provides additional profile and presence for flipping, pitching, punching, Texas rigging and larger jig-trailer presentations.

Fisherman’s Central also carries the Zoom Z Craw in an extensive selection of proven bass-fishing colors. Natural patterns such as Green Pumpkin, Green Pumpkin Blue, Green Pumpkin Magic and Watermelon Red provide versatile options for clear to moderately stained water, while Black, Black Sapphire and other darker or higher-contrast patterns provide strong silhouettes in stained water, heavy cover and low-light conditions.

The wide color selection allows anglers to match local crawfish and forage, water clarity, bottom composition and fishing conditions while maintaining the proven Z Craw profile and action.
