The Duo Rough Trail Hydra 220 is a long sinking pencil built to mesmerise surface-smashing pelagics with a dynamic skipping action that imitates fleeing needlefish and garfish. Its long body reduces the chance of big fish swallowing the lure whole or biting through it, making it a smart choice for targeting powerful pelagics from shore or boat.

Why it works

• Skipping action imitates needlefish and garfish
• Long body design reduces bite-offs and deep-swallows
• Slow-sinking for versatile depth control
• Built for pelagic predators, land-based or offshore

Best for: anglers targeting surface-feeding pelagics with long pencils.
